This section contains information that will help you prepare for your class visit to the museums. There are also pre-visit activities that will help to prepare your students for a tour of Old Ways, New Days: The Story of Mobile our permanent exhibit on the history of the Mobile Bay area. Much of the exhibit supports Alabama Course of Study content standards for Social Studies.

We hope your students have an enjoyable and educational experience at all of our museum locations. For more information about the resources, tours, or programs provided by the History Museum of Mobile’s Education department, please contact
